Community Well/ Water Services:

While some homes have their own wells or take water directly from the lake or river, others rely on the community well or water delivery. The community well is situated at the site of the Fire hall on Reid Road and is open 24 hours daily. People can fill their tanks, both large and small, from the two outlets, using personal hoses, The well is regularly monitored by the Department of Community Services to ensure the quality of the water.

The other source of water is a delivery service managed by the CTFN who use their own well and tanker truck to make deliveries throughout the community. Water can be ordered by calling 399-3813.

Notice: The contract for the new community well facility has been awarded to Cardinal Contracting. The work began the week of September 1, 2014 and is expected to be completed by December , 2015.
