Order in Council:
After a lengthy consultation process with the community, the Order in Council was approved in 2015. To View the approved Order click the link below:
Local Area Planning: A local area plan sets out the land use priorities within the communities. These are based on historic and current usage; anticipated needs; environmental concerns; economic development opportunities; and the values of the community. The plan forms the basis for zoning regulations. At this point, Tagish does not have local area plan but it is anticipated that a planning process could be initiated as early as the Spring of 2013. The planning will be undertaken pursuant to Land Claims and both the Territorial Government and CTFN will be part of the Steering Committee.

Civic Addressing: Tagish does not have a comprehensive civic addressing system. While all streets are named, the numbering system is inconsistent or non - existent. This has created difficulties for our fire and ambulance emergency services and a resolution has been in the works for a number of years. Currently we are developing a work plan to allow us to complete this process .
