Free Stores Reopening

Hi everyone,

I’m writing to let you know that your free store is now open again, and that punch cards are available for purchase at your waste facility. I’m hoping you can help share the following information on your local newsletter or Facebook page to help spread the word to residents.

The free stores are open for drop-off on Fridays and Saturdays only. We have COVID-19 precautions in place, and as such, we’re encouraging people to bring only one bag per person per day until further notice. Items will be stored for a period of time before being put in the free store. You will need to pay tipping fees to drop off free store items ($1 per average-sized bag), but clothing or textiles are free to drop off.

We have provided the attached handouts about how to use our free stores safely during COVID-19 to the facilities. Feel free to use this digital image to spread the word if you like.

Punch cards are also available for purchase at your waste facility. You can inquire with the attendant if you’re interested and let residents know the same.

We appreciate your help getting the word out to your community! Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Kara
